Take a trip across time and relive the history of Baseball in Omaha with our local expert historian aboard Ollie the Trolley. This tour will take you from the current home of the College World Series, TD Ameritrade Park, to the Rocket Café to view the diner that is dedicated to the Negro Baseball League. The journey will continue to the site of Omaha’s first major league baseball stadium, Rourke Park. Just down the road from Rourke you will return to the longtime home of the city’s professional baseball teams and the College World Series, Municipal Stadium, later renamed Rosenblatt. The final stop is at an Omaha Baseball Exhibit where you will be treated with historical information, artifacts, photos and personal anecdotes of the ballparks, teams, players, and unique events that tell the story of baseball in Omaha. From the Western League and Rourke Stadium to Rosenblatt and the Omaha Royals, the tour and exhibit will educate, entertain, and truly enhance your baseball sojourn in Omaha.
