Beertopia's Beer School is back for our 2018 Spring Session!
Ever wondered about beer cultures around the world? Curious to why it's called an IPA? Why Russian Imperial Stouts were created? Find yourself perplexed by the difference between a Belgian Double, Trippel and Quadruple? Or do you want to explore some of the more rare and unusual beer styles? Then Beer School is for you!!! Besides, what other class requires beer drinking?
Starting Monday, April 2nd, and continuing every Monday for 7 weeks, our extremely popular Beer School returns! Sign up for one session, the sessions that interest you most, or attend all 7 and earn your Beer School Diploma!

Classes are only $25 each and includes 8-10 4oz samples and snacks each week. Payment is due at time of signup, and classes can fill up quick so don't wait!
Hosted by Infusion Brewing Company brewer Dave Link, and Beer Corner USA beertender and avid beercationer, Chris Bettini, these classes are sure to please any beer minded drinker, or those looking to expand their BQ (That's Beer Quotient!) and learn more about beer and beer styles.

April 2, 2018 • How Beer Is Made — Hosted at Infusion Brewing Company Southwest — 6271 S 118th St
Omaha, NE 68137 — Step into the mind of a brewer and learn how ingredients used in the brewing process create the flavors in your beer, as well as the basics into how beer is brewed. This course will lay the foundation for the weeks following as we taste beers from major brewing sources around the world.
April 9, 2018 • Beers of the United Kingdom — (held in Max & Joe's Tavern and Tasting Room) The great grandfather of many American beer styles, get back to your beers roots. No bollocks here!
April 16, 2018 • Biers of Germany & the Czech Republic (held in The Huber Haus German Bier Hall) — Learn how these old world beers played a large part to the post prohibition era of beer in America, and in much of the word. Prost!
April 23, 2018 • Beers of the United States (held in Max & Joe's Tavern and Tasting Room) — American is no longer seen as just lowly brewers of boring pale lagers, but as inovators creating a brewing scene that is redefining craft beer around the world! See how those styles are changing the face of brewing. USA! USA! USA!
April 30, 2018 • Beers of Belgium (held in The Huber Haus German Bier Hall due to Reubenfest 2017) — Taste the «Disneyland of Beer Styles» and one of the worlds more eclectic brewing regions. One of the first international «Beercation» destinations, taste why Belgium has became so popular.
May 7,2018 • Specialty Beer Styles (held in Max & Joe's Tavern and Tasting Room) — With over 20,000 beer styles in the world it no wonder we can't fit them all into each session. Tasting those Rare and Unusual styles that you may have never heard of will make up the theme of the night.
May 14, 2018 • Beer Town USA (held in Max & Joe's Tavern and Tasting Room) — The History of Omaha Breweries with Omaha Beer Historian, and owner of Beer Corner USA & Infusion Brewing Company, Bill Baburek — Omaha has been a beer town since it was first incorporated, and on the final night of Beer School, we explore the Rover City's long love affair with this frothy goodness.
