What is Exercise for Emotion Health?
Introduction to Exercise for Emotional Health is a group that incorporates formal education, psychoeducation, and overall health and wellness education to group members on a variety of exercises ranging from walking, running, cycling, yoga, weightlifting, cross-training, stretching, core work, etc.
What can I expect when I come?
• This group will aim to help each individual find their “center” and cope with a multitude of difficulties that surround their lives through exercise.
• This education will be both informational and “hands on” based, providing each group member with the ability to utilize the knowledge and experiences learned into their everyday life.
• The knowledge and experiences learned will allow each member to integrate an abundance of exercise related activities in their daily routine to aid in coping with emotional and mental stressors from the difficulties surrounding one’s life.
