Come and explore our amazing history!

Judy Bell will share information as you hike along history trail exploring what happened here in the past. From the impact of the glaciers in forming the Loess Hills, the Nebraska Phase Indians 1000 years ago, the fur traders, the explorers, and the early pioneers who walked these hills, and even on to early settlers who lived here. If you want to feel like an explorer, go on an adventure, or just learn more about our history while outside in a beautiful place this is a fantastic way to do it. Please make sure you have water and warm clothes. Please note: There are no bathrooms at Camp Wakonda.
