Floodplain: A Clear View of Life in the Big Muddy
Join us for a special opportunity to meet Alex Wiles, the photographer behind the Floodplain exhibit in the Baright Gallery. 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, and Fontenelle Forest is hosting the premier exhibition of this gallery before it travels to other museums and nature centers along the Missouri River. Explore the unique artwork and stay for a discussion about the artist's efforts to inspire communities to care for this critical ecosystem. Questions are encouraged!
Alex Wiles is a conservation photographer, presenter, and environmental educator based out of Omaha, Nebraska. His interest in conservation initiatives takes him around the world where he documents the challenges faced by wildlife and the work of those who wish to protect it.
This event is free for members or with daily admission.
