Have you ever wanted to know more about plants? If so then join us for a wonderful journey to connect with nature.
Build your own herbal reference guide, and get to known the plants that grow all around you. This year round series will train your eye to see and identify the healing plants in Nebraska. You will be compiling detailed information about each herb, complete with drawings, that you can reference throughout your journey into herbal medicine. Each week one of Prairie Star's employees will take you out to see 2-3 different herbs. The location may change from week to week, as we explore herbs that grow in different environments. Feel free to drop in when it fits with your schedule; there is no obligation to come every single week, there is no homework, no educational prerequisites, no stress.
