Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) with Theresa O’Halloran

MBSR is an 8-week stress reduction class is designed to help students understand personal patterns of stress reactivity and learn mindfulness practices designed to change the way we respond to stress in our lives.
MBSR is a time and research-tested method for:
• bringing greater ease into one’s life and learning to live more fully
• assisting individuals dealing with physical concerns such as chronic pain, cancer, cardiac, stress-related disorders and emotional concerns
• reducing anxiety and depression
• assisting those dealing with life transitions
Students will learn and practice:
Meditation – learn or deepen your practice
Everyday mindfulness activities
8-week classes with retreat offered at Evolve to Harmony:
Thursdays 6-830pm, March 29 – May 17
Retreat Day: May 6, 830am – 230pm
FEE: $395 — includes session and retreat fees, workbook, and recordings.

Dr. Theresa O’Halloran, the instructor, has been studying mindfulness practices for more than 15 years, is a Qualified MBSR teacher through the UCSD Center for Mindfulness, and has completed yoga teacher training. Theresa is passionate about mindfulness practices, is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Professional, and has been a counselor since 1989.
