1. CSArt--All mediums are welcome to apply, as well as artist collaborations. The stipend for both levels is $1,500. You may apply for both the Patron and Collector Levels, but you should submit a different proposal for each. You are applying to create new work for CSArt Omaha. You will have approximately 5 months to complete this work. Chosen artists are announced in January.

2. Unrestricted Artist Grant--$3,500 award granted by an external jury of artists and arts professionals to an individual artist, collaborative group, collective, or duo. The grant term is from January to June 2018. This grant is designed to support artists making outstanding work in any discipline. Selected artists will receive special recognition through marketing announcements on social media, OCI’s website, and in email newsletters.

3. Working Parent Artist Grant--$3,500 award granted by an external jury of artists and arts professionals to an individual artist who self-defines as a working parent. The grant term is from January to June 2018. This particular designation is meant to support artists juggling demands of work, family, and regular studio practice. Selected artists will receive special recognition through marketing announcements on social media, OCI’s website, and in email newsletters.

4. Public Project Grant--OCI’s Public Project Grant is awarded by an external jury of artists and arts professionals to an individual artist, collaborative duo, or artist collective working toward realizing a large-scale, public facing project that might not be possible otherwise because of financial constraints. The grant term is from January to June 2018. OCI is looking for standalone projects that can be fully funded by this $5,000 grant opportunity and foster critical dialogue through creating a shift away from how public spaces traditionally operate.

5. Omaha Storm Chasers 50th Season Mural Project Grant--OCI is proud to be partnering with the Omaha Storm Chasers for their 50th Season. We are currently seeking artist proposals for a 50th Season Mural to be installed on the side of Werner Park. The budget is $10,000. Artists may submit more than one proposal, but only one concept will be chosen for this opportunity. Wall dimensions are 9' high x 59' wide.
