Emily Brewer: I believe that variety is the spice of life, and the same can be said when it comes to eating (and judging) chili. I'll proudly wear the ensuing chili stains on my T-shirt like a badge of gastrointestinal honor, and any torture that follows is a small price to pay for a bowl of that sweet elixir that summons beads of sweat to my brow. My philosophy is best summed up in the iconic words of Crissy Tiger, «I know how I like my food. I like it spicy, salty, sticky, crunchy, juicy, oozy,- basically any dish you know and love, jacked unto a bordering-on-socially-unacceptable amount of flavor.»
I look forward to meating (ha!) your chili."
Erin Schultz: Erin is excited to be making her chili judging debut after extensive research on a variety of chili styles. She appeared most recently at The Grey Plume, Kitchen Table, and Nosh. Currently working with the Dire Lion, the Daily Grind, as well as Table Grace Ministries. In her free time Erin enjoys Yoga, drawing, pottery, music, her dogs, her cat, her turtles, her fish, and most of all some of her family.
