William Cordova will share how artists can turn their passions into vehicles for cultural change and how to sustain an artistic practice through residencies, nonprofits, community development, curating, and writing.
Cordova is an interdisciplinary cultural practitioner who lives and works in Miami and is the Orlando Museum of Art's 2017 Florida Prize recipient. His work will be included in «Monarchs», on view at the Bemis Center December 7, 2017–February 24, 2018.
Presented in partnership with Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, El Museo Latino, Omaha Creative Institute, and The Union for Contemporary Art.
